Accommodation
Hideaway Island has been built with a traditional Melanesian atmosphere and has no phones or televisions to interrupt the peace. Guests can contact reception for access to phones or communication facilities.
Quad Share Room: Fan cooled and featuring individual bunk lights, power outlets and lockers. These rooms offer a central common area with lounge, separate male and female changing room with 2 showers, 3 toilets and 2 wash basins. Bedding is 2 Bunk Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults. Children are not allowed in this room type unless the entire dorm is booked out for a children’s group.
Twin Share Room: Located right on the beach and feature a wide wrap-around covered veranda with tables and chairs, with separate shower and toilet facilities are close by. Bedding is 1 Double or 2 Singles. Maximum room capacity is 2 adults. Children 15 years and under are not allowed in the twin share rooms.
1 Bedroom Standard Bungalow: Bedding is 1 Queen Bed and 4 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 5 adults and children.
1 Bedroom Oceanside Bungalow: Features a separate bedroom, living area, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, comfortable sofa setting, table and chairs and a wooden or coral deck with chairs and double hammock. Bedding is 1 Queen & 4 Singles. Maximum room capacity is 5 adults & children.
2 Bedroom Oceanside Villa: Features kitchen and laundry facilities, air conditioning, high speed internet access and a private swimming pool spit between 2 levels. Bedding is 2 Queen Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 adults. Children 15 years and under are not allowed in the 2 Bedroom Oceanside Villa.

On the Beach: Relax with the sand between your toes and a cocktail in hand while enjoying first class food over a view of crystal waters and tropical coral. Featuring a blackboard menu, specialties change daily depending on the fresh local produce available.

Vanuatu Post: The world’s only official underwater post office, Vanuatu Post is situated in the Hideaway Island marine sanctuary. From here, divers and snorkellers can post ‘waterproof postcards’ from the bottom of the water.

Diving
Surrounded by 15 dive sites all within minutes from the resort, Hideaway Island is popular for scuba diving and snorkelling. Single tank dives are scheduled for 8.30 am, 10.30 am and 2 pm each day no matter how many or few divers wish to go out.

Golf
Vanuatu’s premier golf course is located just a few minutes from Hideaway Island on the mainland. A relatively flat course with beautiful views of Mele Bay, many are fooled into thinking it’s easy but the sand traps and surrounding trees keep all 18 holes interesting by offering plenty of challenges.
